Description

ColorHug2

A 100% open source display colorimeter designed for Linux

On the camera

With correct whitebalance and no color cast

Have you ever taken a photo and wondered why it does not look the same on your screen as it did on the camera?

On the screen

It looks bluish and the blacks look wrong…

The LCD display on your computer has probably never been calibrated. This means colors can look washed-out, tinted with various color casts.

Out of the printer

The white is muddy and undersaturated…

Is printing a dark art that usually mean your prints look flat and dull? Are you reduced to 'tweaking' the colors each time manually?

Device Photos

How can we fix this?

Using the ColorHug device it takes about 30 minutes to take several hundred measurements from which the client software creates an ICC color profile. This color profile file can then be saved and used to make colors look correct on your monitor.
